# Google Cloud Storage

> Import files from GCS buckets into Mem[v]

Connect a Google Cloud Storage bucket and import its files into your memory.

## Connect

1. Open [Integrations](https://app.memv.ai/integrations) and choose **Google Cloud Storage**.
2. Authenticate one of two ways:
   * **HMAC keys**: enter the Access Key and Secret from your GCS interoperability settings.
   * **Service Account JSON**: paste the key file of a service account with read access.
3. Optionally enter a default **Bucket** name.
4. Click **Connect**. Credentials are encrypted and stored securely.

## Import files

1. Open [Integrations](https://app.memv.ai/integrations) and find the connected source.
2. Click **Import** to browse your files.
3. Select the files you want, pick a space, and confirm.

Your files flow through the same understanding pipeline as direct uploads: documents are read with OCR, videos and audio are analyzed, and everything lands in your memory graph.
